The ADX-2 is Scorpion's modular adventure helmet, and it carries P/J double homologation - meaning it is approved to ride with the chin bar down or flipped up, which is the point of a modular on a long day. Certification is ECE 22.06, the current European standard.
The shell is a polycarbonate composite made in two sizes so the helmet stays compact rather than looking oversized at the small end, with an EPS liner channelled for airflow. It weighs approximately 1,834 g in size M (±50 g).
Vision is handled three ways: a scratch-resistant, UV-protective outer visor that comes Pinlock MaxVision prepared, a Speedview® drop-down sun visor on a slider, and a removable peak - so you can run it as a touring helmet, swap the face shield for goggles, or take the peak off for less drag at speed.
Inside, the KwikWick® C liner wicks moisture, resists bacteria and comes out to wash, and the Kwikfit cheek pads are cut to take spectacles. A chin curtain and breath guard cut wind noise and visor fogging, speaker pockets take an intercom (the Scorpion EXO-COM fits), and closure is a micrometric ratchet. One top and one chin inlet feed the rear exhausts. Five-year warranty.
