The Maverik LT is Fly Racing's lightweight motocross boot - the weight comes out of the sole rather than the protection, with a moulded outsole that drops mass while keeping an aggressive lug pattern for traction off the peg.
Protection is built in layers: a pre-shaped moulded plastic 3D shin plate for impact, 3D moulded plastic shift panels with grooves and texture where a boot wears through first, an inner ankle panel in durable flexible plastic, and a rubber heat shield that grips the frame and will not melt against the pipe.
The rear ankle is articulated, so the foot still bends where it needs to while staying supported, and a one-piece plastic-injected "fish tail" midsole ties the structure together. A gaiter seals the calf opening against debris, and adjustable quick-lock buckles give a locked-in feel with an open design that does not clog with dirt.
