The Blitz XR is Thor's motocross boot, tested and certified to EN 13634:2017 - the European standard for motorcycle footwear, which most boots at this price do not carry.
The calf overlays are fully synthetic for durability and grip against the bike, over a padded mesh interior that lets the boot breathe. Impact protection comes from a pre-curved injection-moulded shin plate, and an injection-moulded medial abrasion plate with integrated shift protection takes the wear on the inside of the foot where the boot meets the frame and the lever.
Underneath, the injection-moulded outsole carries a steel shank insert for support on the peg. Three fully adjustable straps close it with injection-moulded positive-lock buckles.
